Since 2021 I have been playing the guitar as an amateur and then in 2023 I decided to take lessons. While playing the guitar is my passion I also enjoying making music on my computer under the stage name of Matt Blackthorn.

I have three different guitars:

• 1980s Cimar SG, which I got from my father and I restored to its former glory
• Schecter Sunset Extreme 6 Grey Ghost, my most versatile guitar which is great for both clean and distorted sounds
• Epiphone Les Paul Slash Standard 2008 model, which I got at a fair thanks to my girlfriend and another friend

I also have BOSS Katana 50 Gen3 amplifier, good enough to make some noise in my home studio and for small gigs.

For recording I am using a Macbook M3 Max alongside a Focusrite 2i2, a Launchkey Mini MK3 and a Launchpad PRO MK1.

Line Dancing

In 2025 I started taking line dancing lessons and quickly fell in love with the energetic and rhythmic movements.

It's a fantastic way to express myself and stay active while enjoying great music.

I attend weekly classes at a local dance studio where I have learned various styles and routines. The community is welcoming and supportive, making each session enjoyable and motivating.

I also participate in social dance events, which have helped me improve my skills and meet other fellow dance enthusiasts.
